On both tabs select the ‘include’ option under the title of the element you would like to use. This will activate the content area for those element types.
Note: If you accidentally choose ‘Flights’ and/or ‘Alt Transport’ options, you will need to refresh the page and start again since tapping either of these ‘include’ buttons will open a reference option on the following pages which can not be closed without refreshing.
On the confirmation tab, you can also select an appropriate title for your form based on what you are selling. The default is ‘Holiday Package’
Make sure that the data you enter into each field has been accepted and isn’t still blank before moving onto the next. Thinking you have filled something in that hasn’t been accepted means you will have to start the form all over again. Check twice, Submit once.
If you select “Flights” or “Alt Transport” elements to include, these open up an option to add a PNR or Transport Reference at the top of the content section. You will need to select which reference you want to supply and add the reference. If this option isn’t completed, the form will not submit.
You can manually type in the date or use the date picker drop down option. You can not change the format the date uses.
(Note: Currently the PDF output displays in USA format. We are working to correct this to a UK formant)
For the gallery you can add up to 3 images. A repeatable option will be coming in future updates.
The full URL must include https:// part at the beginning of the address
Note: Not all websites will allow you to link to their images. For example JET2 do not allow this so do not use their images as you will get an error. Try using generic images from the likes of bookings.com or tripadvisor.com. We also know that images from BedsOnline work fine too. If you are unsure you can always ask technical support to check the images first or simply not include a gallery in your quote. 95% of images will work perfectly fine.
The extra information boxes are useful for providing additional details to your client about any given element, however at this time these boxes do not allow for formating, like pressing enter to create a new line or paragraph. We are working to fix this issue but may take some time as it’s not a default function.
There is however a way you can tell the software that you want to start a new line and that’s to add the code <br> at the end of any given line.
Example:
This is my first line of text <br>
This is my second line of text
This will separate the lines of text placing one below the other. If you want a bigger link gap between the two just type <br><br> and now there will be a gap between the two lines.
Once we have an update on this fix we will let you know.
While you can not add any new elements to a PDF once it has been created, if you spot a spelling mistake or maybe need to adjust a flight time, you can use ADOBE ACROBAT PRO to easily edit the text. This can be a useful tool for example if your customer wants an updated confirmation to show they have paid more towards their balance. Simply open the original PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro, go to the costing sections, and then edit the financial information text, making sure to save as a new PDF.
Font: SEGOE UI Size: Match closest to the element you are editing. Generally speaking 10px
Note: Adobe Acrobat Pro is not free but possibly a good investment if you think you may be making a lot of changes to your forms over time.
